In case you werent aware, Paintball is a game played by two teams. Each team mission is to obtain the flag of the other team as they protect their own flag. This game has gained its recognition to around 40 countries worldwide that Tippmann Sports dealers sell their products in Canada as well.
Paintball guns or paintball markers are the primary equipment in this sport. One of the paintball guns that Tippman is proud to provide players of paintball is the Tippmann X7 Basic. At an affordable cost, Tippmann X7 Basic has different looks that a player can choose from. Full length is 20 inches, with a barrel 8.5 inches long and a standard trigger. But the new E Grip is now the most advance trigger that Tippmann has. Tipmann X7 Basic is powered by gases like carbon dioxide (CO2), compressed air or nitrogen.
Tippmann X7 Basic is a .68 caliber lightweight semi-automatic marker. Without the tank, it only weighs 4.1 lbs even with the new magnesium receiver. The new Cyclone Enhanced Performance System feeds to a rate of up to 15 balls per second (bps). The new internal airline eliminates gas line under the marker when using an air through stock. The new low profile offset hopper allows a clear sit line with a hopper capacity of 200 balls. The upgraded adjustable rear sight helps with long range aiming to an effective sight range of over 150 feet. Designed with a modular shroud having four railings to add on sights and scopes, the Picatinny top rail allows easy adding of new riser, sights or handles. The AR 15 style magazine has a built in storage.
Upon purchase, the package includes a maintenance pack, barrel sleeve and gun oil. However, for field stripping and accessory add ons, the push pin design makes it easy to make changes. Some accessories available only to Tippmann X7 Basic are: the X7 Double Trigger Kit, which increases trigger speed and prevents fatigue; the X7 EGrip Electronic Upgrade Kit, features five firing modes; the X7 Expansion Chamber, which easily installs and displays best air efficiency and performance when powered by carbon dioxide; the X7 G36 Short Mag, which is made of virtual unbreakable composite material; the X7 M16 Magazine, with extreme durability; and the X7 Response Trigger Kit, allows rapid air assisted firing system with no need of battery. There is also the Tippmann X7 Phenom. With a full length almost as long as the X7 Basic, the X7 Phenom barrel is longer with a length of 9.5 inches and weighs 3.92 lbs. Having a mechanical and electronic trigger, action is with an Open Bolt Blow Forward Spool Valve System. The Electro Pneumatic Power allows the use of carbon dioxide, compressed air and nitrogen.
